Environmental Development

The Greeks had trouble adapting to their environment.  There were big mountains which made it harder to travel. They had barley any fresh water because most of what surrounded the civilization was salt water.   It was hard to farm due to the bad soil.  Fish was the main food source, so they had to work for their food.  Almost every Greek fished to feed their family.  The Greeks sold some soldiers to Egypt, in order to make money.  Many Greeks moved to Egypt because of all of these problems, but those who stayed formed one of the best civilizations to ever live.

How does the environment shape human development?
